Fairtrade steering group
Students are invited to join the Fairtrade steering group - especially those from Year 8 and 9. See Mrs Billingsley for more information.
Students Support Haiti
Students have raised £564 for the Haiti disaster relief effort. This money will provide a ShelterBox. Each box contains items such as a ten man tent, shovels and water purifcation tablets. A special mention to form groups 7BRI, who collected £75.66, and 13BLA who raised £40.21.

World Book Day
It's World Book day on Thursday 4 March. To celebrate this event and to get students reading more everyone will be given a £1 book token.

Equipped to Learn
Students can buy basic stationery items from Student Services. Geometry set - £1.00, pen and pencil - 5p each, pencil sharpener - 10p, rubber - 10p, ruler - 10p.Calculators can also be bought from the Maths department.
Sport Relief
Sport Relief is approaching fast and a series of events are being organised, including a staff v student 5-a-side football match. Teams pay £5.00 for the privilege! To sign up contact Miss Davies in PE.

Culture Fusion is your chance to be there for launch of Bradford's new world class, state-of-the-art youth centre. This a major project for young people in Bradford so get involved!

Mr Boddy's team produced their best performance of the season, playing some brilliant flowing football which was excellent to watch from start to finish. Well done to everyone involved.

The team produced a fantastic late comeback from 3 - 0 down to score four late goals to win the game 4 - 3.

Rowing Challenge

Well done to everyone participating in the rowing challenge. The final result in the last challenge was 15th out of 327 teams, total metres 7,956,584. The next challenge is the World Rowing Challenge between 15 March and 15 April. Any new team members would be welcome. Our target is to finish in the top ten or exceed 10 million metres.

Year 13 Reunion
The Year 13 reunion has been rescheduled to Tuesday 30 March.
Year 11 Prom
This year's leaver's prom is on 9 July at The Bankfield Hotel in Bingley.
Cricket success
The Year 8 cricket team has won the chance to represent West Yorkshire in a competition in March. The team triumphed in three out of four games at the West Yorkshire InterCricket competition at Headingley on Monday 8 February. Their efforts also got them a second place in the competition.

Sporting Success

Congratulations to Danika Hoey, Shauni Spafford, Blessings Nare and Martha Sangster for acheiving their leaders award for Boccia at Leeds University. Boccia is a game devised for children with disabilities.It is used to encourage children to take an active part in competition and sport.The girls thoughly enjoyed the experience meeting new challenges and mixing with other volunteers.

High Hopes for Badminton Success

The Titus Salt boys and girls Badminton teams (U14 and U16) have qualified for the West Yorkshire Games at Leeds in June. Congratulations to James Bryson, Tom Robinson, Josh Bent, Daniel Cartner, Chris Unsworth, James Scott, Keiran Nar, Harry Rushworth, Ashleigh Neild, Beth Robinson, Hannah Gargon, Jasmine Sidhu, Georgina Oates, Anna Khan, Rachel Samson and Jessica Johnson.

Race for Life in Bradford
